Energy Investors Funds has been successfully investing in the global and U.S. power markets since 1987. Since its inception, the Firm has quickly grown to be a recognized leader in the power markets through its team of dedicated investment officers, engineers, lawyers, developers, marketers, and human resource professionals. EIF is 100% management-owned and is managed by a Board of Directors comprised of the Firm’s three Managing Partners: John Buehler, Herb Magid, and Terry Darby. Its Executive Committee includes John, Herb, and Terry and the Firm’s three Partners: Mitch Coddington, Andrew Schroeder, and Mark Segel.
The goal in founding the Firm was to create a unique private equity management company that would offer a team-based approach to investing in competitive electric power generation markets with a primary focus in the United States. EIF’s depth and length of experience has brought it to a leadership position as a source of intelligent and innovative capital within the sector.
The Firm continues to grow and develop its capacity to provide investors with superior equity vehicles, producing upper quartile returns, for investing in the power sector.
