Vice President and Assistant General Counsel

Ms. Goody joined EIF in 2008 and is responsible for providing legal support related to portfolio investments.  She has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry.  From 2006 to 2008, Ms. Goody held the position of Senior Counsel at BTU Ventures in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she oversaw all legal activities for this energy-focused private equity firm whose asset portfolio is concentrated in the Middle East/North Africa region.  From 1999 to 2006, Ms. Goody served as Vice President and Managing Counsel for Calpine Corporation.  At Calpine Ms. Goody was responsible for all legal matters in the eastern, southeastern and UK offices and supported a wide range of project development, asset management, acquisition and divestiture activities.  Ms. Goody also has held positions at Providence Energy Corporation, the Office of the Attorney General in Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities.  Ms. Goody received a J.D. from Suffolk University and an A.B. from Trinity College in Washington, D.C.
