Assistant Controller

Melissa A. Nowak joined the Firm in 2004 and is primarily responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a number of EIF’s funds.  She works directly with the CFO and Controller in managing the funds’ credit facilities and bank debt.  She is a trusted resource for investors on accounting related issues and works directly with the external auditors during the year end audit process.  Ms. Nowak also works closely with the investment and asset management groups to provide the necessary credit support for investments in development or under construction.  She has over 12 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting.

Prior to joining EIF, Ms. Nowak was an Accounting Manager for a publicly traded biotech firm in Cambridge, MA.  Ms. Nowak received a B.A. from Suffolk University.
