Senior Vice President

Mr. Torres joined EIF in 2006. He is responsible for originating, analyzing, structuring and closing new fund investments, and holds responsibilities for fund raising. He joins the firm with over 13 years of experience and with a broad background in power project and infrastructure finance. Mr. Torres was most recently with CoBank in Denver, where he served as Sector Vice President and Head of the Structured Finance Group. At CoBank, he managed a team responsible for a $1 billion portfolio of structured finance transactions. Prior to that, he served as Vice President in the Project and Sectorial Finance Group of Societe Generale in New York and as Vice President in the Utilities, Project Finance & Advisory Group at ING Barings in New York. Mr. Torres earned an international M.B.A. degree from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, AZ. He received a B.A. in business/economics from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs. Mr. Torres is fluent in both Spanish and English.
